All of the staff at Spa Sedona would like to wish our all the Mom’s out there a Happy Mother’s Day. One of the things I get to celebrate now is “Happy Grandmother’s Day” too. I think being a Grandmother is almost as much fun as being a Mom. Don’t get me wrong, I love being a Mother and I think I did a pretty good job of it. Well my kids might be a little spoiled and demanding but other than that they are pretty good. (I’m hoping they read this LOL)
But when you are a Grandmother you get the very best. All you have to do is spoil them, play with them, and have them for sleep overs then send them home. Your time with them is just to be with them and make them feel special. I think Grandmothers play a very important role in the lives of their Grandchildren. The expression that “it takes a village to raise a child” . The love that a Grandmother gives builds self-esteem in their Grandchildren. They feel wanted and that they can do no wrong in Grammie’s eyes. I had a great role model on how to be a Grandmother, Ella Tedford my Grandmother. She loved me unconditionally; I was so blessed to have had her.
