THE EASTER EGG HUNT – HAS IT LOST IT’S MEANING?

It’s that time of year again, Easter Egg Hunts and a Ham Dinner.  At Easter I have always had an Easter egg hunt for my kids.  I wrap little gifts for each of them plus their favorite chocolates and hide them around the house.  But over the years the hunt has turned into a full out combat war fare event!  If they find someone else gift they chuck it at the other; they hit each other’s basket, spilling candy ever where; they push each other out of the way to get the chocolates first.  It’s crazy.  Our hunt has gone from my three children plus, two daughter-in-laws and five Grandbabies.  I have tried to talk to my children and asked them to set a good example for the younger one.  But that hasn’t happened.  Well guess what, the younger ones are now as crazy finding their gifts as the adults.  What am I going to do with them LOL? I guess I’m just going to be grateful that we are all together and having fun.

Happy Easter Everyone!
